the rounded square body mounted with two rectangular handles, decorated to each side with a phoenix amidst cloud-scrolls and under a key-fret band, the reticulated cover surmounted by a Buddhistic lion finial, on four cabriole legs, signed and dated Bunsei nen Seimin-chu



 

In overall good condition with some minor dents, marks and scratches. Minor damages and losses to the enamels.
