Description

  • the console 89cm. high, 139cm. wide, 42 cm. deep
the black marble top of later date, the frieze pierced and carved with railing, C-scrolls cartouches and foliage, above elegantly curved legs joined by C-scroll stretcher, feet replaced; together with a giltwood mirror frame and a frame in Flemish, 17th century style, veneered in tortoiseshell

Condition

In overall reasonably good condition. The colours of the printed catalogue illustration are slightly too bright. Gilding with losses throughout, partly repainted, the marble top with two restored cracks.
