Description

Comprising: a brooch and bracelet decorated with green enamel, pearls and oval amethyst, bracelet length approximately 192mm; together with a necklace, a brooch, two pairs of earrings and a ring set with faceted amethyst, necklace length approximately 615mm, ring size L, French hallmarks and maker's marks, later alterations and fittings, part illustrated.

Condition

Ivy brooch and bracelet: Stamped with French hallmarks for 18 carat gold. Brooch measuring approximately 84mm x 89mm. Bracelet length approximately 192mm. Stiff clasp. Amethyst very slightly brownish purple, colour zoning. Several green enamel elements deficient. Foiled stones. Pearls with grey bodycolour and medium lustre. Amethyst necklace, brooch, two pairs of earrings and a ring set with faceted amethyst, well matched on the whole, a moderately strong purple, medium to dark tone with colour zoning. Brooch measuring approximately 60mm x 55mm. Ear clips, length approximately 19mm. Pendant ear clips: length approximately 42mm. Stamped with French hallmarks for 18 carat gold. Stiff clip fittings.
