Description

The rectangular case decorated with black and red lacquer, with a central panel depicting an Oriental view in two-tone gold work, the arched thumb piece highlighted with rose-cut diamonds when depressed opens to reveal a single compartment, measurements approximately 80mm x 60mm x  16mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered.

Condition

Numbered 42.873 and 1236 to inside edge of case. Traces of dirt to inside of case, could benefit from a careful professional clean. Lacquer with small chip near to thumbpiece, light scratches to underside. Small indentations to border of vista. Rose-cut diamonds lively. Secure catch. In very good condition.
