Description
The circular dial applied with Arabic numerals with blued steel hands, the bezel and case decorated with black and white enamel beading and vertical stripes, the front with a central monogram, M G, the bail and connecting links millegrain-set with rose-cut diamonds, to a baton link chain set at intervals with pearls, length approximately 620mm, dial signed Cartier, glass cracked.
Condition
Mounted in platinum and gold. 17 jewel movement running at time of cataloguing, movement signed Cartier, maker's marks, French assay marks for 18 carat gold to inside, numbered 4781, dial heavily discoloured and tarnished would benefit from a professional clean, glass cracked, enamel case in good condition with some fine scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and wear, a few white enamel beads with some slight chips, chain in good condition three baton links with small chips.
