Description
Comprising: a ring of cluster design, set to the centre with an oval sapphire within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, size O, accompanied by a pair of earrings en suite, post and butterfly fittings, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Ring stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphire measures approximately 11.4 x 9 x 4.4mm, estimated to weigh approximately 3.70cts, feather inclusion to one side otherwise good clarity, visible colour zoning, mid-blue colour. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.80 carats, bright well matched stones. Scratches to mount. Earrings: stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Unable to gauge sapphire weight due to setting, one with chip and surface reaching inclusion visible colour zoning, other with chip to girdle, total carat weight approximately 2 carats, bright well matched stones, estimated SI-I clarity.
