- crossed swords marks in underglaze blue
painted with vignettes of lovers in landscapes inside deep blue and gilt borders, comprising; a large circular dish, pair of preserve pots, covers and fixed stands, twenty six plates in sizes ( minor damage)
Condition
Large circular dish- haircrack to rim, approx.4in.
pair of preserve pots- one cover with riveted repair.The other cover with small chip to edge of notch.
Two small plates, 19cm., 7½in.- good condition. very minor wear to gilding.
Three soup plates- good condition. Very minor wear.
Twenty one plates, 23.5cm., 9¼in.- one has two haircracks, each approx. 4in.; one has a lot of wear to the gilding on the border. The remaining paltes in overall good condition with minor wear.
