Description

  • the beaker with underlaze blue 'V' mark and incised lines
from the service made for the Marchese Brignole, painted by Carl Anreiter, the beaker with the armorial bearing, the reverse painted in iron-red with a square panel of woodsmen felling a tree in an italianate landscape, the saucer with a panel of figures passing before a country house, interior and borders burnished gilt

Condition

Beaker- minor chip to footrim. otherwise in good condition with some typical wear to gilding. Saucer- shallow chip to rim, approx. 1cm. by 2mm. Small nick to rim. Some wear to gilding.
