with an unidentifiable coat-of-arms, on a gilt-bronze and steel stand (not illustrated)
Condition
Very attractive detail to marquetry which has some splits. There is some brass missing and a section of stained horn from the top which can easily be restored. The gilding is rubbed in places. There is a restored crack across the top, but this has been well executed and it is hardly detectable. Unusual piece in otherwise good original condition.
