woven with three joined panels, each outer panels depicting a seated male figure on a bench, flanking and looking in towards the central panel woven with a standing milk maid, all in landscape settings, with vertical dividers between each panel and all within a later four-sided outer selvedge

This panel is lined and has Velcro attached across the top for hanging purposes. Good overall restored condition, balanced colour and versatile size and charming subject matter, well chosen compostional arrangement. The left hand panel of the seat figure has a later 19th century section of reweaving across the top, visible as a different colour to the sky, but this does not detract from the overall attractiveness of the panel.
