  • 27cm. 10½in. high
3¼-inch dial with enamel chapter ring signed Peter Götz in Wien, gilt centre, three train movement with verge escapement, fusee and chain for the going train and standing barrels for strike and quarters on two coiled gongs, alarm on a bell, the case in the form of a bird cage, on a plinth base now containing a modern Swiss cylinder movement playing two airs at will

Condition

Dial has three minor hair cracks between 2 & 4. Clock movement appears to be complete but is not running and will require clean, service and overhaul. Musical movement in the base has been replaced with a modern movement triggered at will but the original was triggered by the clock movement at the hour. Case gilding in generally good original condition. With a winder.
