Description

  • 72.5cm, 28 1/2 in
probably insprired by designs in Knight's Vases and Ornaments (London, 1833), richly cast with matted foliage, the four detachable branches and central section complete with fixed drip pans, screw-on sonces and detachable nozzles, the triform base with later coat-of-arms and inscription

Condition

overall condition good, but the branches need a little straightening; the cartouche with the inscription is dented; the cartouche with the arms is thin and perforated; the engraving of the third cartouch has been cancelled by chased flowerheads
