- 21.3cm, 8 3/8 in high
the baluster body and domed hinged lid with richly chased borders enclosing an early 19th Century engraved crest, cast and chased swan's head spout, wood handle terminating in a sylised owl's face, pine cone finial
Condition
Overall nice condition, lower pin to handle needs to be adjusted, evidence of small hard solder repair to the body immediately below the handle, the crest was probably engraved circa 1820-1840.
