Description
in the manner of Morgan and Sanders, in Gothic style, the swivelling reading slope supported by an adjustable ratchet, with a drawer for writing implements to the side, restorations, reading slope replaced
Condition
Good general condition. The leather seat is a little worn. The reading slope appears to be a later replacement and has some cracks and chips to the timber adjacent to the hinges and is rather loose on its hinges. The sides of the pen drawer appear to be replaced. Some later stengthening blocks inside rails. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
