Description

  • 80cm. high, 167cm. square; 2ft. 7½ in., 5ft. 5 ¾ in.

Condition

Good overall condition. The corners of the top each with three minute inset brass pin sockets probably intended for some form of detachable gallery. MInor old marks and scratches consistent with age. Rare square form which gives it an imposing presence. Good colour and patina. Attractive `book-matched' figuring to the borders of the top. The drawer linings in ash suggest that this could perhaps be Scottish
