Description
- 73cm. high, 183cm. wide, 122cm. deep; 2ft. 4¾in., 6ft., 4ft.
the moulded edge top with six frieze drawers and pairs of dummy drawers to the sides above concave kneeholes with re-entrant panel doors flanked by further panel doors each enclosing three drawers
Condition
Fair/poor condition and in need of some attention. The top has a leatherette insert which is lifting in places. There are age cracks visible at each end of the top. One spandrel is missing to a kneehole. A panel to each side of the desk is split. There are veneer splits to the doors and several sections of moulded decoration are missing. Some losses to cock-beading. Ends of leather inset to top with creases followint the lines of separation to the carcass boards beneath The colour is uneven with many marks, scuffs and scratches.
