Description

  • 70cm. high, 106cm. wide, 43cm. deep; 2ft. 3½in., 3ft. 5¾in., 1ft. 5in.
with foliate carved arched back, over-scrolled arms and solid seat, on lotus turned legs headed by paterae

Condition

Very good condition. There is some shrinkage to the boards of the seat and there is a gap between the boards running along the entire width of the seat. A few minor old marks and scratches, nice colour and proportions. There are some minor chips to the carving particularly along the bases of the legs. One leg has some minor old worm damage.
