Description

the foliate scroll carved crest rail above a pierced fret carved back and outswept arms, with a drop-in seat, on square chamfered legs headed by C-scroll spandrels

Condition

Very good condition. There are a couple of old repairs to the fret carving. The apron has some minor separations around the tops of the legs. The arms are a bit wobbly. A fine piece with nice details; interesting carving on the arms and the apron has been veneered with attractively figured mahogany.
