bidding is closed

Description

  • 12cm. high, 35cm. wide, 21cm. deep; 4¾in., 1ft. 1¾in., 8¼in.
incorporating a section of Japanese lacquer, including twin pierced lidded glass inkwells, the rococo stand raised on four scroll feet, lid lacking on central pot

Condition

Very charming. The central raised section (pen holder?) appears to be lacking a component. The lacquer is lovely quality - and would have been taken from something else. The underside shows that the reverse of the lacquer section is also decorated. Perhaps the stand is 18th century but the lidded wells etc look 19th century.
