Description
- 94cm. high, 244cm. wide, 79cm. deep; 3ft. 1in., 8ft., 2ft. 7in.
the serpentine top above a fluted frieze centred by a swag-carved tablet, on fluted tapered square legs headed by paterae and with gilt-brass feet, possible replacement to the top and remodelling to the supports
Condition
Fair overall. Some age cracks to frieze. Some restoration to the swags on the tablet. Some minor losses to the moulding on the frieze. Gilt-brass feet slightly loose. Fair restored condition, top possibly replaced, formerly fitted with a splash-rail. Back edge now with filled screwholes, old marks and scratches to the top, scuffs to the edges, losses to the mouldings of the frieze, age cracks to central panel, dents to fluted frieze, losses to mouldings of legs, feet are later.
