- 94cm. high, 198cm. wide, 83cm. deep; 3ft. 1in., 6ft. 6in., 2ft. 8¾in.
the crossbanded top strung with a boxwood and rosewood border above a fluted frieze with rosettes and centred by a tablet with applied gilt-metal Finch family crest in the form a griffin, the four front tapering legs with fluting and gaiters and with two conforming rear legs, restorations
Condition
Nice quality. Some losses to moulded details. The top has at some stage in its long history had a split which has been repaired. There are securing batons to the reverse and other signs that this work has taken place. Losses to some veneers. The piece has been repolished but there are surface marks to the top. Decorative and of an impressive size.
