Description

  • 199cm. high, 69cm. wide, 50cm. deep; 6ft. 6½in., 1ft. 7½in.
the upper part with a moulded cornice and a bevelled edge mirror panel door enclosing adjustable shelves, the lower part with a sloping fall front enclosing short drawers and pigeon holes around a sliding well, the three long drawers below on bracket feet

Condition

Very good cleaned, repolished and restored condition. Numerous chips to the veneers have been filled in and some sections of moulding have been replaced. There is a later leather writing surface to the reverse of the fall front and splits to the sides of the lower part have been filled in. The silvering to the mirror plate is very stained and corroded. Minor old marks and scratches throughout. Of pleasing narrow proportions.
