Description

covered with burgundy leather, the square back with a pierced anthemion carved cresting, with reeded downswept arms and bowed seat, on ring turned tapering legs surmounted by roundels, restorations to seat rails

Condition

This chair is in good restored condition. The frame has been recently repolished and the leather upholstery is new and in good condition. The seat rails have later strengtheners added within the existing rails and there are signs of old worm damage. The rear seat rail is probably a replacement.
