Description

  • 101cm. high, 105cm. diameter; 3ft. 3¾in., 3ft. 5¼in.
the central stem with fan motifs and brackets surmounted by busts of Diana together with acanthus and rams' heads, with each scrolled branch issuing from masks united by swags and with a boldly cast pine-cone pendant

Condition

Good overall condition. The branches all have some play in them and appear to be drooping with the consequenc that the sconces are at uneven heights and not level. This could presumably be corrected by tightening the mounting points and raising the arms or correcting distortons the any branches which have been slightly bent out of shape. Fitted for electricity. Some later screws. An impressive piece.
