Condition

The color is more golden (less red or warm) in reality and compared with the catalogue image. The piece is reduced. There is restoration throughout, particularly in some of the cream-colored silk areas. There are several patches or blocks of reweaving (two starting in the lower border: one partially upward to the top through the shoulder and drapery of the left-hand figure; the other up through the right side of the enthroned figure). Some of the silks are dry and there are minor losses. There are some splits. The piece is lined and with a later selvage.
