A Meissen Kakiemon circular tureen and cover circa 1735,

each piece painted with birds perched among wild cherry and banded hedges, the domed cover with cockerel knop (chips)

Bird's beak missing. Chip to the comb on top of it's head. Minor wear to the brown rim on cover and minor light surface scratches. The bowl has a firing crack along the rim, approx. ¾in. length. which is mostly visible on the interior. Another firing crack along the rim, approx. 0.5cm. Minor wear to enamels and some light surface scratches.
