A white version of this very rare figure from the Callotto resuscitato was in the Karl Mayer collection, see Folsenics and Braun, Wiener Porzellan Sammlung Karl Mayer, pl.XLVI.
The inscription on Callot's original engraving translates 'Simon Flenschl, foreman of the rich freeholder at Knolfingen at the drinking party for the Dedication Festival'.
