A rare Vienna figure of a nobleman in Spanish costume circa 1755

The figure represents a Vienese nobleman attending a court banquet dressed as a Spaniard. Interestingly he appears to have taken his styling and dress from Don Miguel Zorrero, one of the dwarves  in Jacques Callot's 'Callotto Resuscitato'.

Another example of this rare figure, described as an 'actor', was sold at Wiener Kunst Auktionen, 28^th March 1986, lot 815
