A rare set of four Italian carved giltwood lanterns, Genoese first half 18th century

Description

  • lanterns only; 90cm. high, 40cm. wide; overall on poles 300cm. high; 2ft. 11½in., 1ft. 3¾in., 9ft.

Condition

Each of the lanterns are in fair condition and look good from a distance though on closer inpection it is clear that there are many chips and losses to the carved decoration, with some significant losses. All the lanterns are missing at least one plate of glass. One of the finials is missing its head.
