An English gilt-bronze-mounted kingwood, satinwood and bois de bout floral marquetry desk in Louis XV style, 19th century

with a tooled leather inset top, above a frieze drawer flanked by two drawers, the sides inlaid with the monogram MB 

mounts slightly dirty and would benefit foma light clean according to taste. The wood is a little dry looking and would benefit froma reploish. Old very minor marks chips and scratches commensurate with age. Some old very minor restorations to the veneer and a horizontal restored crack across each side. Some pins are missing from the mounts and a minors ection of banding on front left leg is missing but can easily be repinned. in overall good conserved condition.
