Description

  • 94.5cm. high, 212.5cm. wide, 86cm. deep; 3ft. 1¼ in., 6ft. 11½ in. 2ft. 10in.
with three frieze above a pair of cellaret drawers containing bottle divisions, with tulipwood bandings and stringing throughout

Condition

In overall country house condition. Characteristic bowing to top which also has a crack to the rear right edge about 11cm long. Fading to front veneers which have possibly been subsequently `grained' to revive the figuring. Some minor losses to veneers around the drawers. Some gouging beneath central part of central frieze drawer. Some damage to stringing around drawers. Losses to crossbanding to left cellaret drawer. Minor losses to stringing on right side of top.
