- ink and colour on paper, hanging scroll
signed BEIHONG, dated the twenty-sixth year of the Republic of China, 1937, May, dedicated to Li Zongren (1890-1969), and with one seal of the artist
Condition
- Generally in good condition except some very light foxing spots found mainly at the lower section of the composition.
- Colours are well illustrated.
- Close examination reveals wo horizontal hairline creases (one 10 cm, the other 4cm) at the lower section, they have, fortunately, been well taking care of by the mounting.
