Description

the burlwood seat enclosed by a rectangular huanghuali frame, all above a waisted section above a straight beaded edge apron, supported by beaded legs of square section terminating in hoof feet (2)

Condition

One bench is taller than the other. Bench one: there is restoration to the joinery of the legs, two hoof feet have been restored, and there is one long crack to a leg. Bench two: the feet were later concerted to hoof feet. Both benches are slightly sun-bleached.
