Provenance

Sotheby's Hong Kong, 24th November 1981, lot 298.

Condition

Ther is a 2 1/2 inch hairline visible on the exterior of the bowl to the right hand of the 'zi' character which extends from underneath the enamel of the rim into the body. There is a tiny pin prick iron impurity to the right of the 'wan' character. There is very very light overall wear to the enamel and gilding and the colour of the glaze is less white than the catalogue illustration suggests.
