Description
well carved as a crouching beast with knobbed backbone and head held down, with broad snout, finely incised eyes, barbels and horns held back opposite the slightly curled tail, the padded claws finely carved on the underside, the smooth stone of almost white tone
Condition
In overall good condition with a small brown vein on the front foot of the mythical beast, and another on the back foot. The actual color of the piece is more celadon than shown in the catalogue.
