Description
of circular shape, each well-fitting domed half similarly carved with a pair of carp swimming end to end reserved on a delicate openwork ground simulating basket weave, with tiny holes drilled to the opposite sides for attachment, the stone of highly translucent even white tone (2)

Condition
There are three fine veins (ca. 0.2 in.) in length to the rim of the cover. There is one fine vein (ca. 0.2 in.) to the rim of the base. The base and cover each have two pierced holes and one pierced hole on the opposite rim, all for suspension. In good overall condition.
