Description

each belt hook carved with a dragon head at the terminal, the larger with archaistic carving on the head, with undercut qilong on the shaft, fitted under the head with carved jade bangles in the form of two confronting qilong pursuing a pearl, secured by a screw, the stone of even celadon tone (2)

Condition

The larger: In good overall condition with nibbles on the edges of the buckle, some where the bangle makes contact. There is a pale vein across one of the animal faces on the bangle. The smaller: The underside of the dragon's left nose has largely chipped off and there are expected chips where it meets the bangle. The bottom of the buckle shaft has two veins associated with tiny chips on the edge. There is a pale vein across one of the animal faces on the bangle.
