Description

the box of ingot shape with straight sides carved in low-relief of scrolling lotus, the interior divided by a central wall, the cover carved in low-relief with a four-petaled flowerhead, its heart inlaid with red-glass, emitting four radiating leaves and two floral sprigs with buds, bordered by a rope-twist design at the edges, the stone of  bone-white with dark brown and gray inclusions with red veining, wood stand (3)

Condition

In good overall condition with a shiny/glossy surface, and the base is slightly matte. There are tiny nibbles along the edges.
