Description

the oval-shaped plaque finely carved, one side with a central oval enclosing two Chinese characters Zhai Jie carved in low-relief, the reverse similarly carved with two Manchurian characters, both sides carved around the characters with archaistic C-motifs, with pierced C-motif apertures, drilled with a small hole for suspension, the stone of yellowish-celadon color

Condition

The plaque is in overall very good condition. There is a hole drilled through the middle of the plaque. The actual color of the plaque is more saturated than shown in the catalogue.
