Description

delicately carved in the round of a plump boy adorned with auspicious objects, a large ruyi pendant hangs from his neck, his left hand holds a large ruyi scepter while he twirls a drum with his right hand, hovering around his shoulder is a bat grasping a lingzhi sprig, the boy standing defiantly with his left foot on a basket, the stone of even pale celadon tone, fitted wood stand (2)

Condition

In good overall condition. There is a small brown vein above the right hand of the boy. The actual color of the piece is more celadon than shown in the catalogue.
