Description

the taller figure Lu Dong Bin, one of the Eight Daoist Immortals, dressed in long flowing white robes of a scholar and a sword suspending from his shoulder, glancing downward at a guardian figure whose arms are wrapped around the Immortal's waist in an act of protection, both set upon an ovoid-shaped base, carved wood stand (2)

Condition

The Immortal's facial hair is now missing. A 1/2 inch firing flaw on his right cheek. Scattered pinpricks. The guardian's right ankle has a firing crack that resulted in a gap, with two smaller firing flaws on the foot. Two 1 1/2 inch firing cracks on the base. Smaller scattered firing cracks on both figures. Mounted on the wood base, the underside not inspected.
