of baluster shape with an upright neck, traces of gilt decoration on the exterior, with elaborately carved wood stand and cover (3)
Provenance
Acquired by Belle Selby Curtice for her daughter Miriam Curtice Dodge in Beijing in 1917.
Thence by descent to the present owner.
Condition
The gilt decoration is almost entirely rubbed, and there are typical surfaces scratches to the body particularly on the widest section. Otherwise good condition. The interior rim with an old and small triangular shaped chip. The stand has a replaced foot. The cover is in good condition.
