Description

painted in three registers in underglaze-blue, the bottom with pendent plantain leaf lappets, the mid-section with stylized ruyi-head among foliate scrolls, all below the tall trumpet neck painted with warriors and a lady on a mountainous, cloud-filled landscape, with carved wood stand (2)

Condition

In overall good condition with typical minor surface scratches to the glaze commensurate with age. There is an 1/8 inch shallow bruised area near the bottom section. A small speck of kiln grit on the exterior just below the rim.
