Description

of widely flared conical shape with a hexalobed rim, applied overall with a rich persimmon glaze thinning at the rim, the petite foot left unglazed to reveal the white body

Condition

This has been broken into numerous pieces and put back together. The break lines spiral down from the rim around the body to the center of the foot. It is cleanly and well repaired with a museum style restoration with some filler along the breaks. The color is slightly paler, more orangey than in the catalogue photo.
