Condition
The vessel is in good overall condition. There are several natural veins running through the stone particularly at the base of the vessel. There is also a small natural flaw/inclusion in the stone at the base (approximately 1/2 inch) which the was ground down and polished when the piece was made. The design is very finely carved and detailed. The gilding on the metal parts shows very light overall traces of wear and rubbing.
