Description
the upright sides rising to an everted rim, the interior well painted in underglaze-blue with a peony bud and associated serrated leaves enclosed in a double-circle, the exterior with two larger meandering peony sprays, supported on a short slightly tapered foot, factory mark in underglaze-blue on the base

Condition
The bowl shows some minor wear and some tiny nibbles to the rim. There are a number of tiny glaze pulls to the interior of the bowl and some pin-prick iron imperfections scattered across the exterior and interior of the bowl. The glaze shows overall crackling to the interior and exterior and is worn in the centre of the interior. There are several tiny glaze frits to the exterior of the foot. The white of the bowl has a slightly more bluish tinge than the illustration suggests.
