Description

with gently rounded sides rising to a filet set beneath a rounded rim, the interior carved in a medallion with an open lotus blossom and a furled lotus leaf viewed in profile against a ground of scrolling foliage, covered in a light olive-green glaze, pooling in the recesses to a deeper colour

Condition

This bowl is in very good condition, with only two pin head-size firing imperfections to the glaze near the base of the interior, three small glaze gaps (approx. 9mm by 4mm, 4mm, 2mm) to the base of the side of the exterior, and slight overall surface rubbing and scratching.
