Description
the figure wearing an ornate crown and body jewellery inlaid with turquoise, and sapphires, seated in dhyanasana, his hands crossed and holding a vajra in his right hand, on a double lotus base on a raised waisted rectangular plinth
Condition
The gilt bronze figure is generally in good condition. The base plate is missing and there is a 2.5cm crack to the left side of the lower part of the back of the base. The back part of the base is not gilded and the mandorla is missing . Some of the semi-precious stones are also missing and there is some rubbing to the gilding to the face, arms, hands, knees, feet and the reverse of the double lotus base. There is some minor dents and surface scratches to various areas of the figure and the base.
