Description

the body of compressed baluster form set at the shoulder with a pair of dragon mask handles suspending fixed rings, decorated overall with irregular gold splashes, 10.2cm., 4in; together with a small gold-splashed censer, Qing Dynasty, 18th Century

Condition

The gold-splashed censer is in good overall condition with the exception of a 1.5cm., dent line to the side of one handle, and light rubbing and minor scratches to the patina. The other censer (not illustrated in the catalogue) is in good overall condition with the exception of a small nick to the foot and several tiny nicks and very minor scratches to the exterior of the body.
