Description

the body of compressed barrel shape supported on three short legs, set to the sides with a pair of lion mask handles and decorated overall with irregular gold splashes, 13cm., 5 1/4 in; together with a small bronze tripod censer, Qing Dynasty, 17th/18th Century

Condition

The gilt-splashed censer is in good overall condition with the exception of some possible repair and cracking around one leg and an associated depression to the interior, and very minor rubbing, nicks and scratches to the exterior. The other tripod censer is in good overall condition with the exception of a 6cm., long line of small nicks running beneath one handle.
